Current activities:

Academic interests include water resources, natural resource management, freshwater quality, water and wetland conservation.

Health Education and Training (HEAT) in Africa: producing blended learning materials for community healthworkers in rural Ethiopia. The programme covers all aspects of health but my focus is primarily on Hygiene and Environmental Health.

Environment: sharing a dynamic planet. New OU level 2 module currently in development.

Environment: journeys through a changing world (U116) Student activities from this module based on short films  about water resources in Ethiopia (available on iTunesU) were highly commended in the Medea Awards 2010.
