My research explores a novel approach to gait rehabilitation of neurological conditions using rhythmic haptic cues to synchronise motor movement of the lower limbs into stable relationships contributing to healthier walking patterns. To investigate this approach, a prototype wearable system was developed, named the Haptic Bracelets system, capable of: producing a steady haptic rhythm in the form of short vibration signals, monitoring, and analysing gait in detail.

The title of my PhD is: "Rhythmic Haptic Cueing for Gait Rehabilitation of Neurological Conditions" and is supervised byDr Simon Holland and Dr Janet van der Linden.
